^ That’s me. I like education and Hamilton.
I’m good if that’s all you want to know about me, but if you actually like reading people’s bios, here ya go:
Hi. I’m Sami Chiang. I’m 20 years old and a junior at Vanderbilt University, but I’m studying abroad this semester in Copenhagen, Denmark at the Danish Institute of Study Abroad. I’ll be in the Children in a Multicultural Context core course because I love talking about education and hanging out with kids. If you don’t like education you can still read this blog but full disclosure it might not be very interesting. Find more facts ‘n lists about my Copenhagen plans here >>
At Vanderbilt, I study education and child studies with a minor in computer science. I also like to teach kids computer science (along with problem solving skills and GROWTH MINDSET). When I grow up, I want to be an elementary school teacher.
I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, where I come back in the summers to work at an educational nonprofit and coach a youth softball summer league. Other things I like include reading, early morning walks, arts ‘n crafts, cake cones, and listening to the Hamilton soundtrack.
If you’re reading this and you don’t already know me (wooOAAhhh), hit me up at firstname.lastname@example.org.
